PMS - Premenstrual Syndrome

PMS - Premenstrual Syndrome - What Is It?

PMS is an acronym for premenstrual syndrome. A syndrome is a collection of symptoms that are grouped together and the reason that they occur is unknown. However, I'm here to tell you that premenstrual syndrome is actually a symptom of too much estrogen.mimicry.jpg

And where is all this extra estrogen coming from? All this extra estrogen is coming from chemicals and herbs that mimic estrogen. In addition, these chemicals and herbs mimic estrogen very strangely. They are weird estrogens known collectively as xenoestrogens.  Xeno just means foreign.  So xenoestrogens means foreign estrogens.

Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder - PMDD

Premenstrual syndrome is also known as premenstural dysphoric disorder or PMDD.  PMDD is the bonus version of PMS where is you experience extreme mood shifts that can damage your relationships at home or at work.  In extreme cases, I have seen patients that have lost or almost lost their jobs or fiancées because of the extreme irritability, rage, and anger that follows their cycle.  Xenoestrogens cause copper in the body to go high.  When copper goes high, the woman gets extremely irritable.  Eliminate the xenoestrogens, copper levels become normal and the patient’s irritability goes away.  Xenoestrogens also cause magnesium to go low, causing muscles to tense up.  Charlie Horses, constipation, cold hands and feet, and cramping all follow magnesium deficiency.  Magnesium deficiency also causes calcium deposits in the arteries, bone spurs, and microcalcifications in the breast.  Microcalcifications in the breast are usually found in mammograms as an incidental finding.  When I was in medical school, the teaching radiologist explained to me that microcalcifications in the breast was an incidental finding that may or may not be associated with breast cancer.  The radiologist did not know why the microcalcifications in the breast were there.  Microcalcifications are from xenoestrogens.

PMS Signs And Symptoms

Premenstrual syndrome is characterized by weight gain just before your period. This weight gain is usually water weight and you feel bloated. Usually, the breasts become slightly enlarged and tender. The woman usually becomes irritable. She may have sugar cravings and chocolate cravings. She may have increased menstrual migraine headaches right before her period.  She may have increased menstrual cramping just before her period.

When PMS occurs after the age of 35 and before menopause, all of a sudden, the woman may gain weight, especially on the belly. She may also begin to lose hair from her head. She may diet and exercise, and yet, the weight on her belly and fat stay stubbornly in place. In extreme cases, she may have a creepy crawling feeling on her legs or burning sensation on her legs and she may have jerking tingling in her legs. She may have constipation. She may have hands and feet that are cold. She may have "Charlie horses." She may have increased cramping.

Progesterone production from the woman drops to nearly zero for most menstrual cycles, but not all cycles, after the age of 35. She is cycling, but not producing any progesterone for most cycles, but not all cycles. However, estrogen production after the age of 35 from most cycles remains normal. It is this excess estrogen in synergy with xenoestrogens without opposing progesterone that causes these additional effects. Normally, before the age of 35 the woman produces both estradiol and progesterone during a menstrual cycle. However, after the age of 35 for most cycles, the woman just produces estradiol during a cycle. Again, this unopposed estradiol with the addition of xenoestrogens causes all these problems.

If you cut out xenoestrogens totally from the environment of the woman, all the problems go away despite the unopposed estradiol after the age of 35.

For instance, my wife is from Taiwan. We were both married and we were 30. She did not have PMS in Taiwan. Then, she came to United States and began to use all the cosmetics, toiletries, and laundry detergents available to her in the grocery store. She began to have PMS. Every month there were several days were she just felt irritable and wanted to just be angry with me. I would say, "What's wrong?"  She would answer, "Nothing, I just have PMS!"  She experienced weight gain and bloating, and breast tenderness just before her period. Usually, the weight gain is about 2 to 3 pounds. If you weigh yourself at the same time during the day, you'll find a get weight gain of 2 to 3 pounds just before your period. This is water weight. So, I began to read about John Lee M.D.'s work in the book, What Your toiletries.jpgDoctor May Not Tell You About Menopause. In the book, John Lee M.D. talked about PMS and how to use progesterone to cure the effects of PMS. So, I gave my wife some topical progesterone to use which I had bought from the health food store. She immediately began to feel better. However, she did not want to take any drugs at all. She insisted that I find out why the PMS occurring.  John Lee M.D. had talked about chemicals that acted like estrogen in all his books. In the book written by John Lee M.D., What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Breast Cancer, he talked about many of the chemicals that mimicked estrogen and that were causing breast cancer. However, they were not in a very usable list. So, I began to research many of the chemicals and herbs that looked like estrogen to the body. The body was reacting against these chemicals and herbs as if they were estrogen. I compiled a safe list of products for us to use. Laundry detergent made a big difference. Lotions made a big difference. Shampoos made a big difference. Toothpaste was influential. Cosmetics that women use on their face made a big difference as well.  You can get this same safe list if you buy Progestelle from us.

Where Are The Xenoestrogens Coming From That Cause PMS?

It turns out that anything used on the skin has 10 times the potency of what you put in your mouth. Just like the estrogen patches and nicotine patches you can find in drugstores release estrogen and nicotine into the body, lotions, laundry detergent, shampoos, cosmetics, and toothpaste are absorbed directly into the body and affect us.

Thus, I changed all the products that touched our skin back in 1999. Within about 2 to 3 months, my wife did not have any PMS at all. As of 2015, my wife is 53 years old and still has not had any PMS for the last 15 years. She has gone through menopause. She has not had any hot flashes or night sweats. She flew through menopause without any effort at all. She was just normal. She did not have thinning hair. She did not have fat on her belly and hips. And during the last 15 years, she did not use any progesterone at all. She is normal without using any progesterone at all despite her progesterone levels being near zero. This is because she avoided all xenoestrogens on the skin. It is normal for a woman to be normal without taking any progesterone at all if and only if she avoids all xenoestrogens in their environment concentrating on the xenoestrogens that contact the skin.

Did God Make Woman To Have PMS? I Don't Think So.

Many of the chemicals and herbs found in cosmetics, toiletries, laundry detergents, lotions, and soaps act like estrogen. They mimic estrogen.  They do not appear on the hormone test. Many of them are extremely potent especially in synergy with each other. They are just as potent in synergy as progesterone except they are in the opposite direction as progesterone.  These chemicals and herbs act like weird estrogens to the body.

Some chemicals actually increase your estradiol.  Several cups of coffee will increase your estradiol by 70% according to a Brigham Young University study.  If you have endometriosis with impaired excretion, the increase in estradiol may be 300% higher anecdotally.

Many of these cosmetics and toiletries are supposed to be innocuous, but they are hormone disruptive.

According to the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, Georgia as of 2014, one out of eight women in America will come down with breast cancer. Most researchers in breast cancer recognize that xenoestrogens are causing the breast cancer epidemic in America. If you want to read more about this, you can go to www.breastcancerfund.org. The weight of scientific evidence is crushing. However, anyone who sells these chemicals and herbs will protest very loudly. Anyone that sells these hormone disruptive products will yell so loudly that the voice of reason will not be heard.

So To Get Rid of PMS and Take Progesterone, There Are Five Scenarios:

1.  Get rid of all xenoestrogens in your environment. You become normal.

2.  Get rid of the most potent xenoestrogens in your environment. You may take progesterone to balance out the remaining weak xenoestrogens in your environment. You become better.

3.  You still have a large amount of potent xenoestrogens in your environment. You take progesterone and you actually get worse. You have increased weight gain. You have increased hair loss. You have increased fat on your belly and hips. You have increased irritability. You have increased headaches.  One potent xenoestrogen can torpedo all your efforts.

4.  The progesterone works for 2-3 months, then the progesterone does not work.  Progesterone wakes up the sleepy estrogen receptors, and then the estrogen has a much greater effect on your body.  This is called as “dermal resistance” by some well known doctors.  But it is not “dermal resistance”, the estrogen receptors are simply waking up from the progesterone and you are increasing your estrogen sensitivity.

5.  You take some herb that blocks progesterone at the receptor level.  It's as if there is nothing in the bottle.  The progesterone is impotent and has no effect.  Certain herbs block progesterone at the receptor level.  For instance, “Plan B”, an abortion causing drug that can be bought at the drug store blocks progesterone at the receptor level.  Several herbs are commonly used to create abortions.  These abortion herbs, including mint, aloe, and oil of tansy, block progesterone at the receptor level.

So, Why Is It When You Take Progesterone, You Actually Get Worse?

This is because of the paradoxical effect of taking progesterone and xenoestrogens at the same time. John Lee M.D. mentions this in all of his books.

If you are taking a large amount upon xenoestrogens and progesterone that at the same time, you will get worse. Here is what is happening. The large xenoestrogen load of potent xenoestrogens is too much for the body. The body tries protect itself by shutting down its sensitivity to xenoestrogens. The body shuts down its sensitivity to xenoestrogens because of the large xenoestrogens load. When you take progesterone, the body wakes up again and is sensitive to the large xenoestrogen load. You get worse, and progesterone is blamed.

Here is an analogous situation. When you first go to a rock concert the music is very loud. Then, after about half an hour the music is not as loud anymore. This is because your ears down regulate the noise coming from the rock concert. Your ears are less sensitive to the noise coming from the rock concert after a half-hour because the body is trying to protect itself. Now, you take progesterone. All of a sudden, your ears wake-up, and the rock concert is loud again. You blame progesterone. But it is not just progesterone that is the problem. It's a combination of the loud music and taking progesterone at the same time.

The solution is to leave the rock concert, go to a quiet park, and then, take progesterone. Then, the progesterone works great.quietpark.jpg

In this analogy, the loud rock music or concert represents the large amount of potent xenoestrogens in your environment that is going into your body. Your body shuts down its sensitivity to xenoestrogens to protect itself. When you take progesterone the sensitivity goes back up to normal. And you begin to react to all the xenoestrogens. You blame progesterone.

Again, the solution is to eliminate all the xenoestrogens from your environment or at least the potent ones, and then take progesterone. Then, the progesterone works great.

It is also possible that if you do not eliminate xenoestrogens the progesterone works for two months and then doesn't work at all. The reason why is that you're sensitivity to xenoestrogens has changed because progesterone has woken up your body's sensitivity to xenoestrogens. It is not that you have a new batch progesterone or that the batch progesterone doesn't work or is somehow defective. It is because you're sensitivity to xenoestrogens has changed. Progesterone may take one to two months to wake up your estrogen receptors.

This is the most common reason why progesterone doesn't work. It doesn't work because xenoestrogens, especially the potent ones are not eliminated from the patient's environment. Also, it was thought that things on the skin do not go into the body. However, nothing could be further from the truth. Things put on the skin go into the body quite well.

PMS is caused by xenoestrogens in synergy with each other in the environment in combination with estradiol, especially through contact with the skin and scalp.

Xenoestrogens Cause Irritability - Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder

Women with PMS typically are irritable just before their period. This is because xenoestrogens cause a high copper level in the blood. I've had patients who find a high level of copper in their blood and want to know what to do to lower the level of copper. They talk about using chelating herbs or EDTA to chelate the copper out of the blood. However, this is all unnecessary. Just remove the xenoestrogens from their environment. Then the copper levels will decrease. High levels of copper in the blood make the ladies crazy and irritable. No, they not just psychologically crazy; they are really crazy for a physiologic reason. They have high levels of copper in the blood. If the men had high levels of copper, they would be crazy too.

Anyways, just eliminate the xenoestrogens, and take some progesterone and the irritability will go away.

I talked to one lady in California who was a lawyer who had extreme PMS. She had chocolate cravings, couldn't deal with her children or her dog's barking. After eliminating all her xenoestrogens in her environment, she gave me a call. She said, "Now the dogs don't bother me. The kids are yelling all over the house and running around; it doesn't bother me at all. The UPS man is knocking at the door, ringing the bell, and it doesn't faze me at all. There are chocolate turtles sitting on the table and I don't feel like eating them." She exclaimed, "This is great to be normal!"

Muscle Tensing - Menstrual Cramping, Charlie Horse, Neck Tightness, Constipation, Cold Hands and Cold Feet From A Magnesium Deficiency

Xenoestrogens cause a magnesium deficiency. A magnesium deficiency results in muscle tensing. The muscles tense up or cramp up. The uterus is just a muscle and it cramps up from magnesium deficiency. A Charlie horse occurs when the muscles of the leg tense up when you have a cramp. The resulting magnesium deficiency caused by xenoestrogens cause you to have a Charlie Horse. The tightness and shoulder tightness is also caused by a magnesium deficiency caused by xenoestrogen exposure. The intestine is just a muscular tube and when the muscular tube tenses up from a magnesium deficiency caused by the xenoestrogens exposure, you get constipation. There are small arteries that feed the hands and feet. The small arteries are sheathed in muscle. When the muscle that sheathes the small arteries contracts from the magnesium deficiency, the artery diameter decreases. Blood flow to the hands and feet decrease. The hands and feet become cold.

Again, once you get rid of xenoestrogens the magnesium deficiency will correct itself after one to three months. However, in the meantime you can take some magnesium supplements. It's important to use chelated magnesium. The reason why is chelated magnesium has absorption rate of 40%. The absorption rate for magnesium oxide is only 4%. The chelated magnesium is a magnesium and has an amino acid wrapped around it. I like to use magnesium glycinate at 400 mg to 600 mg a day. You keep on increasing magnesium until you have loose stools. If you take too much magnesium, you will get diarrhea. If you do get diarrhea, just cut back on the magnesium you're using.

Many times you will find that the muscle cramps go away. The uterine cramping goes away. The Charlie horses go away. Constipation goes away. The cold hands and cold feet go away. If you get completely get rid of xenoestrogens, then the magnesium deficiency will not persist.  So, the key to properly getting rid of your magnesium deficiency is to get rid of all xenoestrogens.

Progesterone can balance out small amounts of weak xenoestrogens. Again, if you take progesterone with one potent xenoestrogen, you will get worse, and the magnesium deficiency will get worse.

Chocolate Craving From A Magnesium Deficiency

Chocolate is high in magnesium. Thus, women with PMS usually have a chocolate craving just before their period because their body craves magnesium. The magnesium deficiency is most acute just before their period, and their body tells them to eat chocolate. However, chocolate contains many xenoestrogens that act like estrogen. This makes their PMS or premenstrual syndrome worse. Many times I find that women using black African soap have very bad PMS. This is because black African soap contains cocoa butter.  Cocoa butter contains xenoestrogens. Not only that, but you are putting the cocoa butter directly on the skin and so it has 10 times the effect of eating chocolate because xanthine xenoestrogens are going directly into the body and not being prefiltered by the liver.

Xenoestrogens Create Vitamin B Deficiency

Xenoestrogens cause vitamin B deficiency. A deficiency in vitamin B will cause a neuropathy (nerve disease). When the vitamin B deficiency is severe and prolonged, you may get burning sensation the legs or creepy crawling feeling in the legs. This nerve discomfort may be worse at night. Sometimes this is labeled as restless leg syndrome.

nerve.jpgFor vegetarians and women who have malabsorption problems the vitamin B deficiency may be worse. Meat contains vitamin B, and if you don't eat meat, you won't get vitamin B. Some women with eating a meal feel that their stomach puffs up. This may be indication of a malabsorption problem. These women have intestines that simply aren't absorbing all the nutrients. So far, it seems like these women may have an allergy to a food. The allergy to the food may be causing a "rash" inside the intestines. This rash inside of the intestines causes a malabsorption, and they cannot absorb vitamin B. If they are able to avoid eating that food that they are allergic to, then the rash inside the intestines becomes less and they can absorb vitamin B. For example, this is very true for women that have gluten sensitivity. I find that many times as a woman gets older, she may have tendon problems as well. The reason why is that she's having malabsorption of sulfur because of the "rash" inside of her intestines. The band aid remedy for the tendon problems and tendon strain is to take MSM or methyl sulfonyl methane. She should also take 200 to 400 µg of chromium nicotinate also for tendon issues.

If the woman eats a meal, and has a "puffy" stomach, this may also be indicative of a "bad" bacteria in her gut. If she eats a sugary meal and gets a puffy stomach this may indicate Candida (a yeast - not a bacteria) in the intestines. The bad bacteria in the gut may or may not be remedied by eating many probiotics. I personally like to eat Kim Chi, Kiefer, yogurt, and cottage cheese to combat these bad bacteria. Many of the bacteria in traditionally fermented foods have natural antibiotics that kill off the bad bacteria.  The woman can also take oregano oil temporarily (oregano is a xenoestrogen, so not long term) to kill the bad bacteria followed by probiotics.

Natural antibiotic production by bacteria may be illustrated by the discovery of streptomycin. A graduate student wanted to cure tuberculosis at Duke University discovered streptomycin. This particular graduate student had a friend that died from tuberculosis and wanted to find a cure. So, he cultured bacteria from all over the environment to find a type of bacteria that would kill the tuberculosis. Finally, he cultured the throat of a chicken and found the bacteria that would kill tuberculosis in a culture plate. The resulting antibiotic was named streptomycin. The department chairman took credit for his discovery and Duke University received millions in royalties. So, bacteria fight each other. And some bacteria produce chemicals called antibiotics that kill other bacteria. The Russians discovered that lactobacillus bulgaricus produced an antibiotic that could actually cure pneumonia.

It may be by taking different probiotics for about eight weeks may kill off the bad bacteria and heal your gut. However, the exact bacteria in the gut that's causing the problem and the probiotics it and fix a problem are not well defined you may have to experiment. I typically tell my patients to try different brands of Kiefer, yogurt, cottage cheese, kim chi and sauerkraut. These foods contain live bacteria that will kill the bad bacteria and yeast.  However, you may have to try different brands because each brand has different bacteria and different viability of bacteria.  Sarccharomyces Boulardii, a type of yeast probiotic, may be used to combat bad yeast and fungi in the gut.

Anyway, I counsel my patients to take a vitamin B 100 in the morning. Usually, in 3 to 4 months the neuropathy resolves. If you take a vitamin B 100 just before you go to sleep you'll get vivid dreams. So, I usually tell patients to take a vitamin B 100 in the morning they don't have vivid dreams at night. Vitamin B is water-soluble and for most of the vitamin B's you don't have to worry about overdosing. Any excess vitamin B is just urinated out of the body.

The one exception to this is vitamin B6. Rarely, if you take over 200 mg per day of vitamin B6 this may result in a neuropathy. However, a vitamin B 100 only contains about 50 mg of vitamin B6 per day. So, in general a vitamin B 100 is quite safe.

Iodine Helps PMS

Iodine seems very important to reduce your sensitivity to xenoestrogens. Usually, all Americans are deficient in iodine. The gold standard to test for iodine sufficiency is to give 50 mg of iodine orally, and then collect a 24-hour urine. If you get back 80% of the iodine in a 24-hour urine then you are iodine sufficient. However, Brownstein MD found that 95% of Americans in his practice in the Midwest were iodine deficient.

In the 1800s, the Midwest had a large population of patients with goiter. This is because the Midwest has little or no iodine in the soil. The glaciers scooped out all the soil from the area, and thus, the Great Lakes are born. Since iodine is found in seawater, all the iodine was scraped away as well by the glaciers. Thus, there is no iodine the soil.  There is no iodine in the grass. There is no iodine in the cows eat the grass. There is no iodine in people's diets that eat the cows. So, the US Federal government mandated that iodine should be added into table salt. Many of the goiters disappeared in the Midwest. This is a great victory for public health. However, the iodine table salt is just enough to stave off goiters.  It is not enough iodine for optimal functioning of the human body.

Guy Abraham M.D. believes that the Japanese diet has the optimal safe iodine levels for optimal functioning of the human body. He believes that the optimal amount of iodine that you should take every day is about 12 mg per day.

The one common problem that is seen while taking iodine is bromine toxicity. When you take iodine, bromine is forced out of the body's tissues. This free bromine causes toxicity. However, iodine is blamed for this toxic response. However, it is not iodine that is giving the toxic response, but toxic bromine. Bromine can be found in soft drinks, sports drinks, sleep aids, asthma inhalers, commercial bakery products, flour uses bromine as leavening agent, and brominated pools instead of chlorinated pools. Bromine goes into the tissues and poisons the thyroid system. It may be possible for bromine to substitute for iodine in the thyroid hormone making the thyroid hormone useless for the body. So many people that are hypothyroid and take iodine may have a toxic reaction, and then after the bromine is forced out of the body the hypothyroid becomes better. Bromine can cause increased mucus, cough, rash, hair falling out, and in rare cases a sore thyroid. The sore thyroid is especially worrisome. What is happening is bromine is being forced out of the thyrocytes. And some of the thyrocytes are breaking up. Essentially, the thyroid cells are blowing up. The inside of the thyroid cells are now all over the body. It is possible that this could generate a Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Thus, if you take iodine and you have a sore thyroid please stop the iodine salt.jpgimmediately. You may need to detoxify yourself with sea salt first over period of two months. Eat a quarter to one half teaspoon of sea salt with two liters of purified water every day for several months. Then, try to take iodine again.  Start off by taking very small dose of iodine.  You can even start by putting one drop of 2% Lugol’s iodine in a glass of water.  Use only a small portion of the glass of water on your skin.  1 drop of 2% Lugol’s iodine is 3 mg of iodine.  I like to start at 3 mg of iodine per day and then slowly ramp up by 10 mg every two weeks until 50 mg is reached. Maintain 50 mg of iodine per day for 2 to 3 months. This high dose of iodine restores the body’s stores of iodine. Then, you can maintain a 10 mg of iodine per day.

I recommend using either Lugol's iodine or Iodoral.  Lugol's iodine and Iodoral have both iodide and iodine. Iodide is the iodine ion. Iodine is atomic iodine. The body's tissues need both kinds of iodine. Some of the body's tissues up take iodide. Some of body's tissues up take iodine. So your body's needs both types of iodine.

Taking kelp or potassium iodide is not enough. The type of iodine found in kelp and potassium iodide is not complete.

Personally, I had a low body temperature of 97° for about 15 years. I went to 12 different medical doctors. I myself am a medical doctor. They could not fix the problem for 15 years. My patients suggested taking iodine. Many of them could not explain why or quantify why they felt better. So for about five years I kind of ignored them. However, after three months of taking iodine, my temperature increased to about 98.2°. When I first started taking iodine, I had heart palpitations and vivid dreams. This was bromine coming out of my tissues. However, after about two weeks, the heart palpitations and vivid dreams stopped. Now I can take 50 mg of iodine and not feel anything.

I had one patient in the UK that was on our program of avoidance for a small fibroid the size of a golf ball. After five months of avoidance of xenoestrogens and taking progesterone, nothing happened. She then found a small bottle of iodine at the grocery store and began to take that. After three weeks the fibroid disappeared.

I had another patient in the UK that had severe pain from endometriosis of 10 out of 10. After about five months of avoidance of xenoestrogens and taking progesterone her pain was down to three out of 10. I told her about iodine. She began to take iodine. After about three weeks her pain was zero out of 10.

Iodine deficiencies seem to be important in the treatment of estrogen dominant diseases including PMS.  Iodine tells the body to convert “strong” estradiol to “weaker” estriol according to Jonathan Wright, MD of the Tahoma Clinic.

As bromine is forced out of the body by iodine, you'll become less hypothyroid. Hair may become thicker. Fat on the belly and hips may disappear. Iodine seems to "cure" hypothyroid that is not helped by taking thyroid hormone. This is because the hypothyroid is due to bromine toxicity. As of 2014, PepsiCo has taken brominated vegetable oil out of their formulation for soft drinks and sports drinks because of bromine toxicity concerns.

Brominated vegetable oil is banned in the European Union. However, brominated vegetable oil is still allowed in the United States.

Xenoestrogens Cause Sugar Craving - Weight Gain

sugar.jpgWomen with PMS and the large xenoestrogens exposure typically have sugar cravings just before their period. Eliminating xenoestrogens and taking progesterone usually cures their sugar cravings and many women begin to drop their weight.

However, if these women do not eliminate xenoestrogens and take progesterone, many women gain weight. The women usually blame the progesterone for the weight gain. However, it is the simultaneous administration of xenoestrogens and taking progesterone that is making them gain weight, not taking progesterone alone.

Xenoestrogens signal the body to build up fat for the pregnancy and slow metabolism by decreasing the sensitivity of the thyroid receptor. Xenoestrogens do not affect the thyroid hormone level. Xenoestrogens affect the sensitivity of your body to thyroid hormone. Xenoestrogens make you less sensitive to your thyroid hormone.

Thus, many times when you religiously cut out xenoestrogens, your weight will begin to drop.

However if you do not cut out xenoestrogens and take progesterone your weight will go up.

Xenoestrogens Cause Hair Loss

Because xenoestrogens decrease your sensitivity to thyroid hormone, it looks like hypothyroid. Therefore, your hair will begin to fall out because it looks like you are hypothyroid. Many times when patients cut out xenoestrogens religiously their hair becomes thicker. Their hair stops falling out.

Cutting out xenoestrogens and taking progesterone can make your hair thicker.

However, if you take xenoestrogens and progesterone simultaneously your hair will get thinner and fallout. So do not take xenoestrogens and progesterone simultaneously. Cut out xenoestrogens for one to three months and then take progesterone.

Simple Remedy for PMS, Premenstrual Syndrome

1.  Cut out Xenoestrogens out of your environment, especially the things on the skin.  Here is a website that has xenoestrogen free cosmetics.

2.  Take progesterone AFTER cutting out xenoestrogens for 1-3 months.

3.  Take iodine so that strong estradiol is converted to weaker estriol.  Watch out for bromine toxicity.  Start slow.

4.  Take Magnesium temporarily.

5.  Take Vitamin B temporarily.
