Endometriosis & Adenomyosis

No more severe, unbearable pelvic pain that happened on and off randomly.

February 17, 2016.

I am contacting you with some questions. If you don't mind, let me explain my symptoms here first.

I am 42 y.o. female, had abdominal fibroid removal surgery about 2 years ago. Currently, experiencing ongoing, episodic, significant lower abdominal pain almost daily for the duration of 4-8 hrs especially about 2 hrs after eating food. GI work up was done---CT abdomen negative, Colonoscopy negative, MRI abd negative. So MRI pelvis was done and showing two relatively small fibroids and likely adenomyosis. Currently I do not have heavy bleeding issue like I had before my fibroid removal surgery in the past. It's more like.. unable to eat normal amount of food as before because of increased lower abdominal distension and pain. Over the last one month, I lost 10 pounds and it makes me underweight now.

 Here are my questions.
1. Would Progestelle help my current symptoms and fibroids and likely adenomyosis?

2. If so, how much dose is recommended and for how long is it recommended to be on?

3. If on Progestelle, would I have periods at all or no periods? FYI; I am not concerned about fertility at this time. I just need my normal life back.

I would really appreciate your response.

Sincerely,

Kris

After our talk several months ago, I started using Progestelle oil from April. I was recommended to use from D6 through D26 of my cycle. Now I am day 23 and have signs and symptoms of the start of my period. Should I still continue to use Progestelle through day 26 or should I stop using it for this time and restart based on this new cycle?

I am not getting worse, for sure.

It's just too early to say. I would cautiously say it's a little bit more positive side.

But I do not know for sure without closely monitoring for the next several more months since I still have symptoms intermittently.

I am hoping to be able to say that I am definitely getting better with the use of progestelle etc. in the near future.

Again, thank you for the insights and guidance you share.

Sincerely,

Kris

Thank you for prompt response.

I don't mind at all. Thank you for asking. As I mentioned in our previous email correspondence, currently I have random on and off pelvic pain regardless of my cycle, which is totally new to me. This new pelvic pain is so severe at times, almost feel like contraction-like pain. So strange and challenging! Extensive GI work-up was done and all negative. And MRI pelvis showed 2 very small fibroids and likely Adenomyosis.  My GYN doctors don't think my symptoms are from GYN issues since I do also get pelvic pain while I am not on my period. I have a history of abdominal myomectomy in July, 2013 and benign fibrocysitic breast lump removal surgery in 2005.

Based on my medical history, I was doing some research and coming to the term, estrogen dominance by Dr. John Lee. Sadly, conventional medical doctors are not interested or giving any guidance in this perspective at all. As a nurse and patient, it is a real struggle to find a fundamental solution to my current issues.

As you have advised, I have tried my best to eliminate all xenoestrogen in the past several months and started progestelle from this month first time. I am also on all supplements you have recommended.

Thank you in advance for your insights you share.

Sincerely,

Kris

Hi Dr. Eckhart,

I thought I would update you on my current condition since I talked to you on the phone a couple months ago.

My symptoms are much improved, I would say!

No more severe, unbearable pelvic pain that happened on and off randomly.

Only a few episodes of mild pelvic pain, which is less frequent as well.

This is much improvement for me.

So far, I have used progestelle 3 months ( D6 through D26 each cycle) in higher dose.

So I would appreciate your recommendation from here.

Should I reduce the dose to 20mg/day from now on? How long should I be on progestelle?

Ideally I would like to have another u/s done to see if my fibroids are not growing bigger.

Yet, I am not sure if my conventional GYN doctor would let me have another one done soon without any worsening symptoms.

Your thoughts and recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

Kris

After Only 5 months of These Lifestyle Changes and Using Progestelle ... My Uterus is COMPLETELY Clear of Disease

Hello.

I wanted to drop a line to say thank you for the research you do, and for your superior progesterone product!

I am a 39 year old woman who has struggled with painful, heavy periods since menarche at age 12. I have had PMS depression/paranoia/confusion for 1/3 of every month since then. I had surgery for a large ovarian cyst when I was 20. Last year I was bleeding so heavily I couldn't leave my house for the first 3 days of my period, I had become anemic and my cycles were getting as short as 17 days. I had an ultrasound in August of 2016 and was diagnosed with adenomyosis and fibroids. I was feeling tired and depressed and anxious and miserable.

It took a little while for me to find your website and product, and I experimented with natural progesterone creams, but suspected even those ingredients might be impeding improvements, as I experienced none. A search for xenoestrogen-free progesterone led me to you, and although at first I thought the pamphlet's recommendations were extreme (I had always used 'natural' products and I was surprised to find that even my favorite "purest" products had been causing exposure to more estrogen), I slowly found alternatives to anything that touched my skin. Now my "products" include: warm water, unscented castille bar soap, baking soda, rosehip and avocado oils, and soap nuts for laundry. I stopped eating chocolate (which I had previously craved incessantly) and I started taking magnesium regularly and worked up to a 50 mg dose of iodine each day. I also happened to have DIM around, so I took that for a few months too in addition to a few other supplements (selenium, iron bisglyconate, methylated B complex) and a 40-60 mg split dose of Progestelle daily. Because I also suffer from auto-immune illnesses (which have greatly subsided since using Progestelle) I have also cut out all grains and sugar in my diet, which has amplified my energy and improved mood. (Should probably cut dairy next, but am enjoying berries and cream too much to go there just yet).

After only 5 months of these lifestyle changes and using Progestelle, I had a follow-up ultrasound, and my uterus is COMPLETELY clear of disease. My periods are much less frequent (trying to figure out a maintenance dose of Progestelle now to regulate my cycle which has increased to 34 days+), and markedly decreased amounts of bleeding. My ferritin levels are climbing steadily and I no longer suffer from PMS or anxiety. I am calm, happy, and consistently rational in the face of frustration. My irritability is almost non-existent. Weight loss has not occurred so much, even on a low carb diet, but I feel that may come over time, as I feel better and can become more active.

All that is to say: Thank you! And to assure you I am recommending your product to my women friends and family who suffer from estrogen dominant symptoms (which is pretty much every woman I know).

I had known about and suspected estrogen dominance since I was in my early 20's but couldn't get a practitioner to agree and couldn't find the information I needed until now. I am so happy to have found your product and pamphlet. Thank you for helping women live their lives that much closer to their potential. It is such a shame how little most medical practitioners know about hormone balance (even the naturopaths) and I hope someday soon there will be a trend otherwise.

You have positively changed my life and I will be forever grateful to you.

Have a lovely day!

I Improved

I contacted Peter about my issues with severe endometriosis and I found him to be knowledgeable about women's health issues and answered my questions, unlike my GP!  By making changes, applying his suggestions and using Progestelle as directed, I improved.

BTW your progesterone has made such a huge difference to me. Firstly my symptoms of endometriosis and ovarian cysts were completely relieved and now that I'm in menopause the hot flashes etc are also relieved. Thank you for providing such a great service to women's health!
